This CD is a real classic. It is a re-mastered reproduction of the original vinyl LP which John produced in the early 1970s after he left Channel Six and opened the John Sidney Piano Centre in Hobart, Tasmania in 1973. One side of the LP featured John on the piano. The other side had John playing the organ. The LP was promoted on TV and it was so popular that first orders exceeded double the quantity initially produced.

The Teletunes album is a reproduction of a commercially produced cassette recorded during the early days of television when John and Peter played live on TELETUNES. John played piano and Peter played the Hammond organ. The TV audience would send in their requests and John and Peter would play them live. This album is a rare collection of 15 Christmas carols played on an electric piano by John Sidney. It includes JINGLE BELLS, SILENT NIGHT, I’M DREAMING OF A WHITE CHIRISTMAS and even RUDOLF THE RED NOSED REINDEER. The electric piano sound certainly adds to the Christmas atmosphere.
