Green Book CD Collection
The Green Book CD Collection for Aged Care has been created to support lifestyle and activity programs as increasing numbers of Baby Boomers enter residential aged care and community-based activity groups.
This 10-CD collection features music from the 1950s through to the 1970s, including favourites by The Beatles, ABBA, The Seekers, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, Chubby Checker and many more iconic artists of the era.
Recording artist Barry Hall, known to many as “Mr Music” from Channel 9 television, brings decades of experience to these recordings. He hosted the top-rating radio program “Choose Your Own” on Adelaide’s 5DN for more than 20 years and was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in 2014 for his service to music and entertainment.
A companion Green Large Print Song Book is also available, presenting the same era of music in an easy-to-read format. Together, the book and CD collection provide a flexible resource for choirs, senior singing groups and lifestyle programs.
