The Green Large Print Song Book was created to meet the musical needs of the Baby Boomer generation, bringing together much-loved songs from the 1950s through to the 1970s in an easy-to-read large print format.
Originally developed to complement earlier songbooks, the Green Book was independently published by Aged Care Music Resources after recognising the growing demand for music that resonated with a younger generation entering care. Today, it is widely used not only in aged care settings but also by choirs, senior singing groups and community music programs.
A companion Green Book CD Collection is also available, featuring music aligned with the song index of this book to support group singing and performance settings.
